How to remove cat urine – There are some very good commercial cleaners for removing cat urine but if your cat has just had an accident and you don’t have time to run out and buy a cleaner you could try this homemade method.

Put hot water, peroxide and baking soda in a bowl, stir it to make a thick paste. Take a scrub brush and scooped the paste out and scrub it right onto the entire area. Once it is scrubbed in leave it to dry. When dry take a vacuum cleaner and clean up the flakes.

I recommend you test this on your upholstery before you apply it. It is a little messy, and you will have to really scrub but it does get the smell out.

Cat urine can really linger and has such a pungent smell it is hard to get rid of. You need a very good commercial cleaner specifically for cat urine to really get rid of the smell. Once you have got rid of the smell it is a good idea to start house training your cat so you are not constantly battling to keep your house smelling nice.
